Data & Reports

Getting data out: exports, the API and scheduled reports

Export any register

Every register has an Export button. It offers PDF and Word to everyone, and Excel and CSV on the Enterprise plan. The file holds exactly what's on screen — the filters you've set are applied and printed into the file, so nobody mistakes a filtered list for the whole thing. CSV is plain rows for importing into another program; registers with several sections (like Action items) get a Section column.

Scheduled reports

Account → Data Export → Scheduled reports (Super Admin, Enterprise). Pick a register, a file type, when it goes, and who gets it — tick “Send it to me too” and add any other email addresses. It's sent on behalf of the admin who set it up, so it only ever holds what that person could export themselves; if they stop being a Super Admin, or the company leaves Enterprise, it stops sending and records why. Pause or delete it any time from the same list.

API keys for other compliance programs

Account → Data Export → API keys (Super Admin, Enterprise). Make a key, tick which registers it may read — incidents, action items, certificates, observations — and copy it straight away: it's shown once and never again. Give it to the other program's administrator. Every call it makes is logged, and Revoke stops it immediately.

A key can only ever read your own company's records, and only the registers you ticked. It can't change anything.

Where settings live now

Each module's everyday tabs come first. Builders, types and settings sit behind the Setup button at the end of the tab row — press it to see them, and Done to come back. Nothing moved out of its module; it's just out of the way until you need it.
